They do make one so mad, I know. If any problems find out what their so called "Mission" (It is our mission to blah, blah, blah,........) is and then quote it back to them, cry real tears, demand to speak or see a Manager.

They are the servents of the people. It is not the other way around - whatever they think!!!

In response to:A letter.

Just being Social Services - incompetent as usual. Bloody frustrating usually.
I'm glad you kept your cool. A love of another human-being, in this case Aidan, is worth more than all the stress and anxiety. But I do not underestimate that stress, because sometimes it nearly destroys a relationship. Take Care.

Hope all can be sorted by you both.
How they measured it as your situation is worsening. This is the formal appeal process. It is from Northamptonshire CC but I beieve they all work the same way.

You're too young for Age Concern to help but there should be a Citizens Advice Bureau nearby. Your specialist disability organisation (mine is The Stroke Association) may be able to help with support and advice. Good Luck.

In response to:Angry.

Sorry to hear about this, my friend with mental health problems has similar trouble getting the care she needs. But I help people who do and they often have similar stories. Hope you manage okay.
